Parents, Family and Support Persons

At Rutgers-Camden, we understand and emphasize the importance of personal and academic success. We know that you want your student to do well, and the focus of the Dean of Students Office is no different. While we look forward to watching our students grow into well-rounded and responsible adults who are working their way toward a valuable degree, we recognize that not every student’s journey is the same, and that various challenges can arise throughout the academic year to create obstacles that may be difficult to face alone.

Our staff is dedicated to providing the necessary support to our students by connecting them with the appropriate services and resources on campus, but we also look to you as important partners in this role. Parents, families and support persons are often times our greatest allies when it comes to promoting student achievement, and we hope that just as you can rely on us to help see your student through, we can rely on you to provide them with the consistent guidance and encouragement that they’ll need every step of the way.

This page is dedicated to providing you with critical information to be aware of, which can help guide some of your conversations with your student about their progress, their experience on campus, and to asses any needs for intervention. We hope to get to know you during your student’s time here at Rutgers-Camden. Please check this page periodically for important updates and announcements about upcoming events. Please also feel free to contact us with any relevant feedback and let me know how we’re doing in educating and supporting your student.
